Empty Your Glass is a collaborative publication launched in April 2025 by Il Sun Moon. This collaborative project is based on the intimate, personal, and reflective format of a "diary." Bringing together artists from diverse backgrounds, the project expresses everyday experiences through a variety of mediums including video, photography, writing, and various forms of documentation, highlighting personal moments and intimate experiences in multiple layers.

Traditionally, diaries have served as sincere vessels capturing individuals' emotions, thoughts, and daily occurrences. This project reinterprets this conventional format with a contemporary artistic approach, facilitating collaboration and engagement among artists from different fields and backgrounds. Each artist utilises their unique perspective and method of expression to artistically elevate mundane moments encountered in daily life, exploring the universal beauty and meaning found within them. Videos and photographs capture fleeting moments visually, offering audiences intuitive and sensory experiences. Meanwhile, writing and other forms of documentation guide viewers deeper into the artists' inner worlds in a more reflective and contemplative manner. The harmonious combination of these various media interweaves individual narratives, creating richer, multilayered stories.

Characterised by collaboration, the project fosters communication and exchange among participating artists, generating new sources of inspiration that are themselves documented as part of the project. The convergence of each artist’s daily experiences on a single platform enriches individual narratives, enhancing their depth and complexity. Through this project, we discover the extraordinary within everyday ordinariness and explore deeper layers of personal and universal human experiences. By engaging with the diary-style artworks shared by the artists, viewers can reflect on their own daily lives, gaining empathy and comfort.
